Not necessarily. Perdrive Cloud can be fully accessed through your web browser without installing any additional software. However, for enhanced features, we offer optional desktop and mobile apps for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
4. Is PerDrive Cloud® Free to use?
We offer a free trial period for new users so you can explore the platform and experience its capabilities. After the trial ends, you’ll need to choose one of our paid plans based on your storage requirements and feature preferences. We also offer custom pricing for organizations with larger-scale needs.
5. What types of files can I store on PerDrive?
PerDrive supports a wide range of file types, including documents (Word, PDF, Excel, etc.), images, videos, presentations, and more. We support files of any format (except a few extensions) as long as they don’t exceed your storage limits.
6. Can I invite my team members to use PerDrive?
Yes. Inviting team members is infact easy. From your account dashboard, you can invite users by entering their email addresses. They’ll receive an invitation to join your PerDrive or even a workspace, where you can assign them roles and permissions based on your team’s needs.
7. Can I access my files from any device?
Yes! PerDrive is a cloud-based platform, so you can access your files from any device with an internet connection. Whether you’re using a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone, your files will be just a few clicks away.
8. What happens if I exceed my storage limit?
If you reach your storage limit, you’ll be notified and prompted to upgrade to a higher-tier plan. You can also manage your storage by deleting unnecessary files or transferring data to an external drive to free up space. Futhermore, PerDrive shows you a progress bar indicating your usage and free space.
9. Can I set a password for shared links?
Yes, you can password-protect your shared links for added security. This ensures that only those with the password can access the content, making it ideal for sharing sensitive files.
10. How do I share files with external parties?
Sharing files with external parties is simple. You can generate shareable links to your files or folders, specify who can access them, and set expiration dates for enhanced security. You can also restrict access to view-only or allow editing and downloading.
11. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?
Yes, you can switch between plans at any time based on your needs. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle.
12. Does PerDrive support multiple users?

1. Is my Data secure on PerDrive?

2. Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in highly secure, enterprise-grade cloud data centers that meet global compliance standards. We ensure that all storage locations adhere to strict data protection laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001, so your information remains Safe, Private, and Legally compliant at all times.
3. Who can access my Files?
Only you can access your files by default. You have complete control over who else can view or edit your data by managing access permissions. PerDrive also allows you to share files securely with password protection, expiration dates, and read-only or collaborative access modes.
4. Do you sell or share my Data?
No. Your privacy is one of our top priorities. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties under any circumstances. Your information remains your own, and we are fully committed to keeping it confidential and protected.
5. Is my Perdrive account isolated from other?
Yes. Each PerDrive account is completely isolated from others and operates on a dedicated account unique to your organization, such as yourcompany.xxxxx.com. This ensures your data, settings, and team environment are securely separated from other users, providing both enhanced privacy and a branded workspace tailored to your organization.
6. Is two-factor authentication (2FA) supported?
Yes. Perdrive supports two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator and other compatible TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) apps. Once enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter a secure code from your mobile device at login—adding a strong second layer of protection to your account. We highly recommend enabling 2FA to keep your data safe from unauthorized access.
7. How secure are PerDrives data centers?

Once your account is deleted, all files and associated data are permanently removed from our servers unless you’ve made external backups. We don’t retain deleted data unless explicitly agreed upon in your service plan.
10. Is my data encrypted during upload and storage?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols, and stored with AES-256-bit encryption. We also support optional end-to-end encryption for sensitive workloads.
11. Can I disable file downloads to protect sensitive content?
Yes. You can restrict downloading on shared files and folders, ensuring recipients can view them online but not store them locally. Perfect for protecting confidential or time-sensitive information.
12. Are deleted files recoverable by Perdrive staff?
No. Once a user deletes a file from Trash, it’s permanently removed from our servers. Perdrive staff do not have access to deleted user content, in line with our strict privacy and data protection policies.
13. Can I see where my Perdrive account is/was logged in and end active sessions?
Yes. Perdrive gives you full visibility into all active sessions, including the device type, location, and ip adddress. From your account settings, you can remotely end any session you’re unfamiliar with or no longer using—giving you control and peace of mind if a device is lost, shared, or compromised.
14. What happens if a team member leaves the company?
Admins can quickly revoke access, transfer ownership of their files, and review their activity logs. This ensures data continuity and security even during staffing changes.
15. Does Perdrive use AI to detect risky behavior or threats?
NO but, we’re building intelligent features that will help detect risky sharing, unusual activity, or potential data leaks in the future. These AI-driven alerts will help proactively protect your content and organization.

3. How fast is file access on PerDrive?
PerDrive is optimized for speed and reliability. Files are stored on high-performance servers, allowing for quick uploads, instant previews, and fast downloads—even for large files. You can access your documents from anywhere in the world with minimal loading times.
4. Can I back up or sync files automatically?
Currently, PerDrive does not support automatic backups or file syncing. All uploads must be done manually through the web platform. We are actively working on future features that may include syncing capabilities based on user feedback.
5. Is offline access available?
At the moment, offline access is not supported. You’ll need an internet connection to view, upload, or download files from Perdrive. However, we’re exploring offline functionality for future development.
6. Can I preview files without downloading them?
Yes! PerDrive supports in-browser file previews for common formats like PDFs, images, text documents, and spreadsheets. This allows you to quickly view content without having to download files first.
7. How are files organized on PerDrive?
You can easily organize files into folders, rename items, and use tags or search tools to find what you need quickly. Our interface is designed to keep things clean and simple, so even large libraries stay manageable. You can also favorite or star files that you use regularly or view files shared to you seperately.
8. Is it easy to search for Files and Folders?
Absolutely. PerDrive includes a powerful search engine that lets you filter results by file type, keyword, people you’ve shared with, date created, or last modified. Whether you’re looking for a recent upload or a document shared months ago, it’s easy to find what you need.
9. What are PerDrive Workspaces?
PerDrive Workspaces are dedicated spaces for teams to collaborate, organize, and manage shared content more efficiently. Available with select plans, Workspaces let your team group files by project or department, assign roles, and keep work neatly structured and separate from your personal storage.
10. What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription, your data will remain accessible until the end of your billing cycle. After that, you will have the option to export your data before it is deleted. We do not retain any data from canceled accounts beyond this period unless required for legal or compliance purposes.
11. Can I move files or folders into other folders within Perdrive?
Yes! Moving files and folders in Perdrive is quick and intuitive. Just drag and drop items into your desired destination, or use the “Move” option from the menu to place them in the right folder without affecting sharing permissions.
12. Is it possible to make a copy of a file or folder?
Absolutely. You can duplicate any file or folder with a single click using the “Make a Copy” option. This is perfect when you need to create editable versions or preserve originals while collaborating.
13. Can I upload entire folders without zipping them first?
Yes. Our platform supports full folder uploads using modern browsers. Simply drag the folder into your dashboard, and Perdrive will retain the structure as it uploads everything inside.
14. Can I move multiple files at once into a different folder?
Yes! Just select multiple files by drag-selecting them or using the checkboxes or shift-click, then drag them to the target folder or use the bulk “Move” option. It’s a great way to organize large uploads in seconds.
15. Is there a dark mode for working late or low-light environments?

When you delete a file, it is moved to the Trash, where it will remain until you decide to permanently delete it. You can easily recover files from the Trash by selecting them and restoring them to their original location. No files are permanently deleted unless you manually remove them from the Trash.
10. What should I do if I forget my password?
Simply click “Forgot Password” on the login page. We’ll send you a secure reset link via email to help you regain access.
11. Do you support custom integrations or APIs?
Yes. API access and custom integrations are available for enterprise clients. If your organization requires automation or connection with internal tools, our team will help guide the process.

Yes. You can choose between monthly or annual billing. Annual plans come with a discounted rate and are ideal for organizations looking for long-term savings.
3. Can I change my billing plan later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades, and at the end of the billing cycle for downgrades.
4. Will I be notified before my subscription renews?

5. What happens if my payment fails?

6. Can I get a refund if I cancel my plan?
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. However, your account will remain active until the end of your current subscription term, and you can continue using Perdrive until then.
7. Will I receive an invoice or receipt after payment?
Yes. Invoices and payment receipts are automatically generated and sent to your registered email after every successful transaction. You can also download them from your billing dashboard.
